Biography

Sung-En Chang is a PhD student at Northeastern’s College of Computer and Information Science focusing on Tensor analysis, advised by Professor Dr. Rose Yu. He earned his BS from the University of Tehran and his MS from Shahid Beheshti University. His research is on Tensor analysis, a subfield of statistics and data science that models signals under the spatial-temporal context. Examples of problems he would like to solve include traffic and climate analysis. He is from Taipei, Taiwan.

I am a PhD student studying Tensor analysis.

My research interest is on Tensor analysis, a subfield of statistics and data science that models signals under the spatial-temporal context.

What’s one problem you’d like to solve with your research/work?

Typical examples are traffic and climate data analysis.

What are your research or career goals, going forward?

I would keep going on Tensor analysis. Hoping it can be more interpretable and useful in forecasting climate events.
