What are the specifics of your graduate education (thus far)?
I studied a one-year statistics course which gave me a good foundation for future research.
What are your research interests?
I’m interested in using computer science technologies and statistical knowledge to solve practical biology problems.
What’s one problem you’d like to solve with your research/work?
Currently, I focus on developing multivariate interpretable biomarkers for tailored therapy.
What aspect of what you do is most interesting?
The biology problems related to the life of human beings are the most interesting to me.
What are your research or career goals, going forward?
I have not yet decided, but I would like to remain in academia.

I grew up in Northeastern China.
