Biography

Koorosh Firouzbakht is a Part-Time Lecturer at Northeastern University’s College of Computer and Information Science. He earned his BSc in electrical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, his MSc in information technology engineering – secure telecommunications – from Iran University of Science and Technology, and his PhD in electrical and computer engineering from Northeastern University. Koorosh’s field of study is digital communications and wireless/computer networks. His research areas include security and privacy and systems and networks, and he is a member of the Communications and Digital Signal Processing (CDSP) Center.

What are the specifics of your educational background?

I received my BSc degree in electrical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in 2006. I received my MSc in information technology engineering – secure telecommunications – form Iran University of Science and Technology. I received my PhD in electrical and computer engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA in 2015.
