Professor Farhad ‘CJ’ Hameed is a part-time lecturer at Northeastern University, specializing in health informatics, management systems, and healthcare technology. He currently serves as the Editorial and Medical Informatics Director for PEPID in Phoenix, Arizona, where he also develops the curriculum for their Graduate and Nursing Informatics Internship Program. CJ also designs and manages the Undergraduate Medical Informatics Internship Program at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, and teaches as an adjunct assistant professor of pharmacy practice at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ as well as Chicago State University in Chicago, Illinois.
CJ is an award winning professor, and earned his Master’s degree in Health Informatics from Northeastern University, as well as his Bachelor’s of Medicine and Surgery from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. He is certified in Health Information and Management Systems from the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society, as well as a certified Healthcare Technology Specialist and Coding Specialist from the American Health Information Management Association.
