What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most/find most interesting about what you do?

As the Director of Academic Advising for the College of Computer and Information Science, my job is to provide support to students as they navigate through the college experience. I am also focused on providing professional development support to staff in an effort to enhance the advising experience. I began my student affairs career as an academic advisor, so I strongly believe this area of support is a vital piece to student success. I love interacting with students; watching them succeed in and out of the classroom is personally and professionally gratifying.

What’s the most compelling thing to you about the research/work that goes on at the College?

The level of innovation in the College of Computer and Information Science is incredibly inspiring and motivating. The faculty and staff in this college are providing a world-class education using cutting edge methods and tools. They are preparing our future leaders to be innovative, creative, and collaborative.
